Located in the Johannesburg inner city, #4 Restaurant and Jazz bar calls on the rich jazz history of Johannesburg and Soweto.  Johannesburg, known as the city of gold, was used as the inspiration to create an interior which mirrored the affluent history combined with the jazz legacy that formed part of the labor class history. Johannesburg is a city of contrast, rich and poor, African and Colonial, traditional and contemporary. The design combines these elements in a space that feels uniquely Johannesburg inner city. During the evening live jazz performances transport diners back to the days of Miriam Makeba, Hugh Masekela and other jazz greats while enjoying a five star dining experience. The restaurant contains a library and private lounge which can be booked for private events.
